A Prudish Policewoman's Porn

The Globe and Mail, 31 December 1964

Oh, Policewoman Davies, you tried your best, but you were no match for Mistress Hill and Lady Chatterley.

A note to collectors: Lust for Two is an early pseudonymous work by science fiction writer Robert Silverberg.

  1. Silverberg.....welll, well.
Do you know of any other surprising literary ventures of this type? I'm trying to put a book together on the subject. Credit will appear...

  2. Doctor, in the words of Neil Young, "I used to order just to watch her float across the floor".

Gary, I think you'll find many riches amongst titles published in the late 'sixties and early 'seventies by Essex House of North Hollywood, California. Charles Bukowski and Philip José Farmer count amongst the authors they published. John Glassco's grand hoax The Temple of Pederasty (1970) appeared under sister imprint Hanover House.
