Despite the amazing cobra-skull on the "Weird Tales" 1938 cover, I think I will have to vote for the 1946 cover as my favourite of the lot.

Mine, too. The last is, I think, a fair example of the negative effects prog rock had on 'seventies sf and fantasy cover design.
