I read The Pyx (the edition above), it was pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Buell's second best novel, Stephen, the first being Four Days. In fact, I think Four Days is one of the five or six best novels to ever ever come out of Montreal.
DeleteFunny that you read the very edition pictured above. I've been looking for a copy since discovering that it has an extra bit not found in the first edition. I quote from the back cover:
