ReplyDeleteI shouldn't, I know, but I find it remarkable that the cover comes courtesy of a major publisher.
DeleteYears ago The National Lampoon did an "article" entitled "Bombardier Sled Company Presents Great Canadian Writers". I think this book would have fit nicely into it.
ReplyDeleteI know the series, Tim. In fact - great coincidence - I was roommate of two of writer Sean Kelly's kids in university. I've long been meaning to write a piece on the guide - it served to provide the intro to Canadian literature that school did not.
